With news of the impending big freeze approaching the UK last month, Transvalair UK Limited, in conjunction with their IFLN partner Falcon Express Inc., showed their adaptability by answering a call from the Qatar Royal family to collect their personal effects and fly them out of the country to Doha before London was snowbound.

A team of four, led by Managing Director Steve Morris, arrived outside the Dorchester Hotel with only a few hours notice to collect all their personal baggage and load it onto one of their trucks. As the snow started to fall heavily the team managed to get everything safely back to their warehouse at Gatwick before conditions became impossible.
Even the MD was forced to abandon his car on his journey home as over thirty centimetres of snow fell making all major routes impassable. The following morning, undeterred by the atrocious conditions and knowing the urgency of the consignment Transvalair despatched their vehicle to London Heathrow with two drivers armed with shovels and emergency supplies.

Every bag collected the night before made the afternoon flight to Doha and once Falcon Express Inc. took over the shipment and cleared it through Customs everything was delivered to the Royal Families’ residence in Doha within forty-eight hours of the whole process starting.
It only goes to prove that, when IFLN partners work closely with one another, they can eclipse the service offered by any other competitor.
