IFLN launches innovative business tool

Press Release – Houston, TX (USA)
January 11, 2012

Following the announcement at the Vietnam conference and months of painstaking efforts and team work, the IFLN has now officially launched its Members Information Platform (MIP).

The new system is designed to provide IFLN Network Members with a wealth of information about the activities and key capabilities of each Member, thus considerably widening the scope of existing business opportunities and develop hitherto unexplored avenues.

“Especially as markets with lucrative outsourcing opportunities continue to emerge pretty much everywhere, establishing a trusted platform for IFLN Members that can provide maximum transparency is critical to the success of such a global community,” says IFLN president Michel Vanlerberghe.

"Missed business opportunities as a result of miscommunications between Members should now be a thing of the past,” he adds.

The MIP provides a more formalized business approach. If, for example, an IFLN Member in Germany needs to give a quote or a presentation on its capabilities in a foreign country to a client for the shipment of a piece of heavy machinery, all the Member needs to do is to log onto the MIP and access all the necessary information. All kind of reports can be accessed and almost instantly presented to the customer.

Active Members are listed individually by country and office, with extensive information about Members’ key staff, company presentation, SOPs and all necessary regulatory updates in different countries and routes. Accessing key capabilities of individual companies is now just a ‘click away’ for everyone within the IFLN Network to see.

Apart from providing a single tool about network policies and documentation, the MIP also allows the IFLN to keep all Members informed about the latest developments within the industry, the Network and its Members. There is also detailed information on annual meetings, partnerships, services and Member benefits.

Another advantage of the new system is its flexibility and ability to adapt new content.

“By offering greater transparency both in terms of procedure and track record, the MIP is really an innovative business tool designed to inspire renewed confidence through greater clarity and, by the same token, enhance both efficient communication and operational synergies among all Members,” Rocio Hidrobo, Vice President of the IFLN adds.
